Client intake & qualification
Turn new inquiries into a qualification summary and follow-up for your intake team to review.
- AI prepares
- A qualification summary, missing details and a follow-up draft.
- Person decides
- Intake staff approve the next step; attorneys decide case acceptance and conflicts.
- System records
- The approved message, case update and decision trail.

02 · Legal workflow
Client messages, clearly routed
Match incoming messages to the right matter and person.
Urgent requests stand out, with a reply ready for review.
- AI prepares
- A proposed matter match, classification, extracted details and next action.
- Person decides
- Case managers confirm matches and replies; attorneys handle legal questions.
- System records
- The source message, approved action, owner and routing decision.

Intelligence layer
A proposal has no permission to send a reply or change a matter.
Outcome lanes
System records · Logged to matter
Previously approved filing → source document and action logged
Person decides · Needs approval
Treatment update → provider-list task and logistics-only reply draft
Person decides · Escalated to attorney
Insurer contact → hold replies for attorney review
Person decides · Needs a person
Ambiguous matter match → no automatic filing
- Matches each message to the client and matter.
- Recognizes the request and flags urgency.
- Routes it to the right person.
- Drafts a reply for review.
03 · Legal workflow
Court orders, clear deadlines
Extract dates from a court order, calculate deadlines and have reviewers confirm them before they reach the calendar.
Prepare the tasks, documents and reminders your team needs for each date.
- AI prepares
- Order passages, proposed dates and preparation tasks.
- Person decides
- The attorney and a second reviewer verify each date.
- System records
- Confirmed deadlines, task owners and the rules used.

How dates are computed
1 · Read the order
Extract the instruction and trigger date with its source passage.
2 · Apply the rules
A rules engine counts days using court rules, holidays and service method; AI does not calculate dates.
3 · Confirm, then record
The attorney and a second reviewer approve each date before calendar entries and tasks are created.
04 · Legal workflow
Find records. Build the timeline.
Chase missing records, review what arrives and build a timeline linked to the source documents.
Spot gaps early so your team knows what to request next.
- AI prepares
- Record requests, missing-item flags and a sourced timeline.
- Person decides
- Staff confirm completeness; attorneys decide how the evidence is used.
- System records
- Request history, reviewed findings and their source pages.
Follow-up ready
Staff approval required“Your therapy notes mention Juniper Orthopedics. Did you attend, and on what date?”
- Approved message returns to client communications.
- The reply can open a new records request.
- Track outstanding records and bills.
- Flag missing pages, providers and treatment gaps.
- Keep each finding linked to its source page.
- Draft the next request for staff approval.
05 · Legal workflow
Draft and review with firm knowledge
Review clauses, draft edits and answer questions using your firm's approved documents.
Spend less time searching for precedents and more time on legal judgment.
- AI prepares
- Clause checks, suggested edits and source-backed answers.
- Person decides
- A lawyer accepts, edits or rejects each change.
- System records
- Sources, document versions and review decisions.
- Check clauses against the firm's playbook.
- Draft from approved language.
- Explain suggestions with source links.
- Flag inconsistent terms and cross-references.
06 · Legal workflow
Prepare filings for attorney approval
Turn case records into a checked draft and filing package.
Keep evidence, citations and documents together so the attorney can review, sign and file.
- AI prepares
- Evidence, a draft motion and a checked filing package.
- Person decides
- The attorney chooses strategy, approves, signs and files.
- System records
- Evidence links, citation checks and attorney approvals.
- Link facts to evidence and flag missing records.
- Draft only after the attorney chooses the approach.
- Block export until citation issues are resolved.
- Leave strategy, signature and filing with the attorney.
Tested before launch
Every workflow is tested before it ships
We test the application, its AI and its connected tools against the risks that matter to your workflow.
LLM features
OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
Checks for hidden instructions, data leaks and invented information.
Agents
OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications (2026)
Checks that agents stay within their approved tasks and permissions.
APIs
OWASP API Security Top 10 2023
Checks that connected systems protect each client and matter.
A concrete test for each workflow
- 01 · Intake
- Hidden email instructions cannot change a matter without approval.
- 02 · Messages
- A client message cannot close a matter or send its file without approval.
- 03 · Deadlines
- Unclear orders stop for review; dates must match the cited rule.
- 04 · Records
- Medical records cannot reach an AI provider without the required agreement.
- 05 · Drafting
- One firm cannot retrieve another firm's documents or clauses.
- 06 · Filing
- An invented citation blocks export of the filing package.

Built for audited environments
Controls your auditors can examine
We help your team prepare for ISO 27001, SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements.
Practical controls and evidence for your compliance programme. Independent auditors assess and certify where applicable.
On client projects I’ve helped teams achieve ISO 27001, SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance, building the access controls, audit logs, encryption and evidence their auditors examined.
Auditors issue the reports and certificates; I build what they examine.
What I do
- Custom legal workflows for firms, built into your existing systems
- SaaS products for legal-tech founders, built end to end
- Legal integrations: case management, Microsoft 365, phone, e-signature and court notices
- Penetration testing of web, API and AI applications
- Audit-ready controls and evidence
What I don’t do
- Legal advice or legal opinions. Your attorneys make every legal decision.
- AI that takes consequential action without a person’s approval
- Acting as your auditor or issuing certifications
- Filing with courts on your behalf
Questions before we build
Legal workflow questions
Can these workflows connect to the systems our firm already uses?
The work starts with your existing case-management system, Microsoft 365 and communication channels. I build around the APIs and permissions available in your environment. The integration scope and any migration work are agreed before implementation.
Does the AI make legal decisions or file with the court?
Your attorneys make every legal decision. AI prepares drafts, extracts information and proposes next steps. A person approves consequential actions. The filing workflow prepares a package for attorney review; the system holds no filing credentials. I do not provide legal advice.
How do you handle confidential client information?
Access follows the user, firm and matter boundaries agreed for the project. Retrieval respects source permissions, model endpoints must satisfy the project’s data-handling requirements, and sensitive actions leave an audit trail. Tenant isolation and cross-matter data leakage are tested before launch.
What is tested before a workflow goes live?
The agreed scope covers the web application, APIs, LLM features and agent tools, using the relevant OWASP reference lists. Concrete tests include hidden prompt instructions, cross-tenant access, unsafe tool calls and fabricated citations. Delivery includes a penetration test report, reproducible findings, fixes in scope and a retest.
Can you help with an audited environment?
I build controls and evidence for client projects, including access controls, audit logs and encryption. I work with your team and its auditors on the technical implementation. Auditors issue the reports and certificates; I build what they examine. The exact requirements and engagement scope are agreed with your team.
Do you work with law firms or legal-tech founders?
Both. For firms, I build custom workflows and integrations inside existing operations. For legal-tech founders, I build SaaS products end to end. Each engagement defines the users, data boundaries, approval steps and security testing before development starts.

Bring the workflow. We’ll map the approvals.
Share the steps your team repeats, the systems involved and where an attorney needs to decide. We can define the build, integration and security-testing scope together.
